I’M A CELEBRITY…GET ME OUT OF HERE! 2018 host Dec Donnelly had a spat with his co-presenter Holly Willoughby this evening as he was explaining to ITV viewers about the latest Bushtucker Trial for immunity.
Dec, 43, and Holly Willoughby, 37, were explaining how the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! contestants were split into teams and had to win points towards immunity from this evening’s first vote off.
However, as they showed the leaderboard, Dec uncovered something unusual hidden behind the huge set prop.
Revealing to ITV viewers what he had seen, Dec questioned Holly over why his face was at the centre of a dart board.
Clearly both playing on the joke, Dec mocked being upset at Holly’s game, claiming to be “disappointed” by his co-host.
Turning the board round, Dec asked Holly: “What’s this? What’s that? Immunity darts. What is that?”
Trying to play down Dec’s discovery, Holly said: “It’s nothing,” but Dec pressed ahead.
“No, come on. Immunity darts, immunity from what?” to which Holly admitted: “Um, from talking to you.”
Joking he was hurt by the comment, Dec said: “Hang on a minute. You and the crew have been playing darts to win immunity from talking to me.
“Oh Holly, why are you being so horrible to me tonight,” he remarked as Holly cheekily laughed off the moment.
“I’m so disappointed,” Dec told Holly, to which the ITV presenter added: “You’re disappointed. I came last,” with Dec having to hold back his laughter.
Towards the end of this evening’s episode, it was revealed Noel Edmonds, 69, was the first celebrity to leave the camp.
Noel was voted by the British public to leave the jungle after 10 days, but he was pitted against EastEnders actress Rita Simons, 41.
Following Noel’s departure, Dec admitted he was shocked to see the TV icon leave first having been a late addition to the camp.
Speaking of his time in the camp, Noel said: “I’m disappointed and relieved in equal measure and so excited I’m going to be back with Liz,” referring to his wife.
After looking back at his best moments, Noel said: “That almost looks like someone else.”
He continued: “I just said I was going to be open and honest, and I wasn’t going to lie.
“Please believe me, this is just about the finest production I have ever been a part of.
“You’re running a 24 hour operation here, and a lot of what I experience here is actually what viewers don’t see.
“I am humbled and proud to have been a part of it,” the TV personality admitted.
Before making his final goodbye’s, Noel told the presenters he wanted fellow campmate Fleur East, 31, to be be crowned queen of the jungle.
